A soft film maker, soft in his attitudes director of repute PH Vishwanath takes over as the head of Kannada Film Directors Association. The election was held yesterday in Bangalore for 2014-2015.

PH Vishwanath directed films like Panchamaveda, Musuku, Athi Madura Anuraga, Munjaneya Manju, Aragini, Sirigandha, Rangoli, Andaman, Arunodaya, Olave and Kinnara Baale in his career.

The outgoing President MS Ramesh stayed in the office for 3 years and 3 months increasing the financial stability of the KANFIDA from Rs.1.90 lakhs to Rs.21 lakhs on his handing over the seat to director PH Vishwanath.

The point to be noted at this stage is that the possibility of taking stern stands. PH Vishwanath is known for very soft approach. That is what not needed with ‘Dubbing’ taking up quite often for discussion. MS Ramesh and his team might have to take up incase of difficult situation faced by PHV.

B Ramamurthy is Vice President, KN Vaidyanath is treasurer, Nagendra Magadi and Venkatesh are general secretaries.

Nanjunde Gowda, Guruprasad, Roopa Iyer, Dayal, Sudhakar Bannanje, Sharan Kabbur are also in the committee it is learnt.
